Al-Wefaq Scientific Office and Al-Kafeel Hospital agree to perform supported operations.

Al-Wefaq Scientific Office revealed its cooperation with Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital, in order to perform subsidized cochlear implants for Iraqi patients, to spare them from traveling for treatment in other countries.
This was decided on the sidelines of the conference of the Iraqi Society of Otolaryngologists and Surgeons, which was held in Baghdad Governorate, in which a number of Iraqi and foreign specialist doctors participated, with the aim of discussing and circulating the latest technologies and scientific developments in this specialty worldwide.
The Director of Al-Wefaq Scientific Office, Dr. Mustafa Saad, stated: "Our participation in this conference aims of informing ear, nose and throat surgeons about the latest technology of cochlear, which is implanted for the hearing impaired."
Saad added, "Several agreements were made on the sidelines of the conference with a number of hospitals in Iraq, including Al-Kafeel Hospital, to cooperate in conducting cochlear implants for Iraqi patients, with a subsidized price of both the device and the costs of the operation," describing Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital as "one of the advanced hospitals at the level of Iraq and the region, which has achieved many medical successes, thanks to its highly experienced staff and modern technologies.”
