Adjustment, fixation, and implantation of a bone to a twenty-year-old patient at the al-Kafeel Hospital.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that it had succeeded in treating complex fractures in the left femur of a twenty-year-old patient.

The specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints at the hospital, Dr. Ihsan Al-Faraj, said: "Our medical team succeeded in cutting and modifying the femur, and implanting a new bone for the left thigh of a twenty-year-old patient," noting that: "The patient suffered from complex fractures with a deviation in the left leg, due to the previous operations.”

Dr. Al-Faraj added that: "Modern medical technologies at Al-Kafeel Hospital helped us perform the operation through which the patient was able to stand on his feet again, 24 hours after the procedure."
