The procession of the people of Karbala at the shrine of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him).

The procession of the people of Karbala offered its condolences to Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) at his holy shrine in the holy city of Mashhad in Iran, on the sad anniversary of the martyrdom of the pillar of faith and the translator of the Qur’an, his son Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), through a condolence and service activity in coordination and cooperation with the Department of Hussayni Rites and Processions, which is affiliated to the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
The head of the aforementioned department, Haj Riad Ni'mah al-Salman, told Al-Kafeel Network, “The procession of the people of Karbala commemorated this sad occasion, at the shrine of Imam al-Redha (peace be upon him) in the city of Mashhad. Participation was in two parts: the first by preparing meals and distributing them to visitors and mourners.
The second: The establishment of a condolence council in the Karbalai Hussayniyah in the city of Mashhad, and a religious lecture was given by Sayed. Ali Al-Haddad, followed by a (lamentation) council by Radood Abd al-Amir al-Amawi."
He added: "There was also a united mourning procession in the name of the people of Karbala, which launched in one of the service streets of the Holy Sanctuary, in which mourners set out while raising banners of sadness and sorrow, drawing lessons from his blessed biography. The council was concluded in the Imam ar-Redha's (p) Holy Courtyard, chanting expressions of condolences, and joined the visitors in renewing the covenant and loyalty to their oppressed imam.”
