The Holy Quran Institute in Najaf commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The Holy Qur’an Institute in Najaf, affiliated to the Scientific Academy of the Qur’an at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine, held the fourth annual Qur’anic Council on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the first narration, in the Al-Hurriya district in the governorate.

The council started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the reader Akram Samer, after which His Eminence Sayed Mohamad Sadiq al-Khursan presented a lecture entitled: (Fatima az-Zahra "peace be upon her" the good example). His Eminence highlighted the personal qualities of the great Siddiqah (peace be upon her), and the lessons taught through studying her life.

Then the condolence and lamentation was held at the end of the council, by the preacher Sheikh Shubra Maalah.

It is noteworthy that such councils are organized in the context of the keenness of the Holy Qur’an Institute of the Scientific Academy of the Holy Qur’an to activate Qur’anic activity in the districts and sub-districts and to urge young people to follow the path of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It is noteworthy that the Quranic council continues according to the two narrations (the second 13 Jumada al-Ula) and (the third 3 Jumada al-Thania), in the districts of Najaf.
