A group of doctoral students at the University of Karbala confirmed that the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is a forerunner to support the scientific movement in Iraq, and had a prominent role in its consolidation through many channels, projects and activities, which contributed to achieving this goal and was able to provide everything that is new, useful and of high quality, and its experience in this field became the focus of attention and a role model.
This group of students visited the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as part of a program prepared for them by the University and School Relations Division at the Public Relations Department.
Professor Dr. Aziz Karim Wannas from the College of Physical Education at the University of Karbala told Al-Kafeel Network: "Our delegation that visited today the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, includes a number of doctoral students at the University of Karbala, accompanied by their professors and supervisors. And we were received by its servants from the University and School Relations Division. This visit is inspired from the students’ belief that the Ziyarat of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) has an impact on the students as they also need an effective spiritual dose.”
He concluded, "We extend our heartfelt thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and those in charge of it, for providing this opportunity, and we congratulate them for these efforts and great works, and we ask God to guide them and direct their steps to serve the visitors and other groups.".
For his part, Mr Mustafa al-Kadhemi, a media person in the University and School Relations Division of the Al-Kafeel Network, stated that “this visit is part of a series of visits carried out by academic groups within a program prepared for this purpose, including this delegation, which visited the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), then toured the corridors of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in addition to touring the gifts and vows department and listening to a simplified explanation of how it works, in addition to a tour of the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts in order to view and listen to a brief explanation of each piece."
At the end of this tour, the delegation expressed their thanks and praise to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and those in charge of it, for their efforts and services to the visitors.
