The German ambassador in Iraq visits the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

The German Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Martin Jaeger, visited the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine this Wednesday (17 Jumada al-Ula 1443 AH) corresponding to (December 22, 2021), and met with its Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi and its Secretary-General, Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged talks on a number of matters. Sayed al-Safi welcomed the guest and congratulated him on his assumption of office, wishing him success in his work as ambassador in Baghdad, praising the role played by Germany in Iraq, and its industry, which gained the confidence of the Iraqi citizen.
The meeting also dealt with reviewing a number of projects of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in which German companies had a role, such as printing, industrial and medical projects and museums.
At the end of the meeting, the German ambassador praised what the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is doing in various fields.
He also expressed his happiness to conduct this visit, as it is the first of its kind to Karbala, explaining, "I came to get to know more about this city and its holy shrines, and the visit was successful and I was able to learn a lot about it. I also met the officials of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and was briefed about its projects, and about the cooperation between them and German companies, and we will work to strengthen it."
