Light flyers decorate the streets leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The staff of the Electricity Division of the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department has finished installing a set of colored light flyers on the streets leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in preparation for receiving the auspicious anniversary of the birth of the Lady of Women; Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), which we will celebrate tomorrow, Monday twentieth of Jumada al-Thaniya.

The official of the aforementioned division, Engineer Mohammad Mostafa al-Taweel, told Al-Kafeel Network, “According to the directives of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the department’s presidency, to display the ornamental signs to commemorate this anniversary, our staffs began, more than three days ago, to hang light flyers of various sizes, shapes and colors, on all roads leading to the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and in a manner that reflects the atmosphere of joy on this occasion."

He added, "These works are considered the largest after the anniversary of the births of the blessed month of Sha'ban, due to the peculiarity of this occasion, and we used fixed and mobile light flyers that extended along the streets with lamps of three colors (blue, red and yellow), which are economic lamps that consume the least possible electricity, and of different lengths ranging from between (20 meters) to (35 meters) along those roads, and they were distributed in artistic and beautiful forms to show the city in the most beautiful way as it receives this happy occasion."

Al-Taweel stated, “And for the specificity of the entrance to the Holy Shrine from the Qiblah gate, columns were erected in the middle of the street in the form of the letter (T), on both sides of which were installed 30 decorative lanterns, and these columns were also wrapped with ropes of light flyers, as for the sides of the street.

He concluded, "The number of lamps that were used in these decorations reached more than (30,000) lamps, of various shapes, sizes and colors, with decorative lighting that is controlled from the control room of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."
