Khair Al-Joud Company for Modern Agricultural Technology, affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, established a field station for agricultural research and experiments with the aim of finding and developing innovative agricultural techniques, to provide the best ways to use the available natural resources, and to meet the challenges of agriculture in the country, as well as to implement pilot experiments aimed at familiarizing it with modern farming techniques.
The managing director of the company, Engineer Maytham al-Bahadli, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "Since it is established, the company has developed - within its objectives - industry products from fertilizers, pesticides and fertilizers; To contribute to the upgrading and advancement of the reality of agriculture, which has achieved good results that have been positively reflected on the efficiency, quality and soil of agricultural crops. And in order to be informed on the ground of the impact of these products and their results, we have established this station.”
He added, "The area of the station and its first phase is 5,000 square meters, of which 3,500 square meters were invested as greenhouses of 500 square meters each, which are planted with various agricultural crops and according to each season, as they are experimental fields for the company's products and their effects, as the basic idea is to apply fertilization programs to the company's products.".
Al-Bahadli continued by saying, "We are concerned with the simple Iraqi farmer, and how he can, with limited means, provide him with modern agricultural techniques and technology to invest land and time, and how to overcome the problems of water quality, poor soil, and methods to achieve high productivity and cost-effectiveness."
Pointing out that "researchers, interested people and specialists can benefit from this station, and contribute to helping them complete their research projects."
