The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine begins its month of Ramadhan program with the Quranic Khatma

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began this Sunday afternoon (1st of the month of Ramadan 1443 AH) corresponding to (April 3, 2022), its month of Ramadhan program with the Holy Quran Khatma organized by the Institute of the Holy Quran affiliated to the scientific complex of the Holy Quran, and is held daily in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with the participation of a group of readers.

The director of the Institute, Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "the Holy Quran Khatma is one of the important programs of the holy month of Ramadhan, which is held by the al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine every year, because of the great importance of this blessed month, it is the month of the Quran, forgiveness and closeness to the Almighty God, with the participation of a group of readers and in the presence of a group of believers visiting the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

He added, "the Quranic Khatma starts daily at five in the afternoon at the rate of reading one Juz’ every day, where a dedicated place has been prepared from the Holy Courtyard provided with a high-resolution audio system, a platform with a design that fits blessed event, copies of the Holy Quran so that participants can follow up with the five readers, who will be reading in sequence throughout the days of the blessed month".

It is noteworthy that the Institute of the Holy Quran has prepared a plan to revive the days and nights of this holy month, through the establishment of Quranic Khatmas or religious and other competitions, whether in the institute or in its branches spread in most provinces of Iraq, in order to participate in spreading the culture of reading the Holy Quran.
