For the second year in a row: knowledge Affairs Department launches the second season of the heritage knowledge competition

The Department of Islamic and human knowledge affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the second season of the TV heritage knowledge competition for Iraqi university students during the holy month of Ramadhan.

The head of the Department; Sheikh Ammar al-Hilali, stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "Students from twelve Iraqi public and private universities from different provinces of Iraq, participated in the competition, which consists of 20 episodes distributed over three rounds: (group round, knockout round, final round), and each team consists of three students.

He explained that "the questions that are asked in the competition are questions about Islamic heritage in general, and dealt with some scientific figures, historical incidents, ancient literature, etc., and are held under the supervision of a competent jury that evaluates the answers according to the criteria and themes of the competition".

"The episodes witnessed the presence of an audience inside the studio to support the teams".

It is noteworthy that the organizing committee of the competition has allocated valuable prizes to the winning teams, in order to raise the spirit of competition and increase the motivation to learn about our rich Islamic heritage, and direct the attention of young people towards it.
