Recalling the crime of demolishing the graves of Al-Baqi in the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine recalled the crime of demolishing the graves and shrines of the imams of Al-Baqi (peace be upon them), which is commemorating its ninety-ninth anniversary on the eighth of the month of Shawwal 1443 AH, as its annual Council of condolence is established in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and lasts for three days.

The council, which is organized by the division of Hussayni rhetoric at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, is held annually and falls within the project of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) to commemorate the events of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), including this sad occasion, namely the demolition of the graves of the shrines of the imams of al-Baqi (peace be upon them).

The council includes the holding of two lectures, the first morning is held by Sheikh Muhyiddin al-Asadi, and began on the sixth of the month of Shawwal, and the other evening organized in cooperation with the Al-Baqi organization, held after the Maghreb and Isha prayers by Sheikh Mohammed Ni’ma of Lebanon, followed by the lamentation council revived by the Radood Haj Bassem Karbalai, and continues for two days starting on the evening of Monday the seventh of Shawwal.

It is to note that Al-Baqi' is the principal cemetery of the people of Medina since the time of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household), and is currently the nearest historical place to the Prophet's Mosque building, and which contains the tombs of thousands of people of Medina and those who have died there from its visitors, led by some companions and a number of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). But the gangs of obscurantism have demolished all the domes which were built claiming they were a proof of shirk, in the time when they started to demolish the shrines, sanctuaries and the Islamic monuments in Mecca, Medina and others. For example in Mecca, the cemetery of al-Mu'alla and the house of the holy prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) were destroyed among other buildings of Islamic and historical connotation.

The tragedy of al-Baqi' happened when the Wahhabis did not let any piece of stone in it, they have also demolished the mosque built on the grave of Hamza Ibn al-Muttalib the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) and the mosque of az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and have robbed and seized the treasures of the shrine of the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household), thing that was described by 'Awn Ibn Hashem saying: "I saw blood flowing like the river between the palm trees, and for two years, whenever I looked at the current water I see it by God red!"
