The pavilions of the holy shrines of Iraq at the Tehran International Book Fair

The pavilions of the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Iraq, which participated in the Tehran International Book Fair in its current edition, were distinguished in terms of the value of their displayed books and the art of their design.

"We participated with more than two hundred publications, including the old magazines of Najaf from a year (1905) to (1965), and 70 editions about the biography of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and 45 diverse cultural editions in multiple foreign languages,” said the official of the pavilion of the Imam Ali’s (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed. Haidar al-Moussawi, adding "Our goal of participation is, of course, to spread the thought and culture of the people of the House (peace be upon them)".

For his part, Mr. Ali shubbar, assistant head of the media department at the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) , said: "We are participating with 600 titles dealing with jurisprudence, doctrines, science and interpretation of the Quran, as well as books related to the life of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), as well as many scientific journals".

"Our pavilion, in partnership with the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, hosts an intellectual competition for its visitors, in addition to "a message to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn, peace be upon him".

As for the design of the pavilions of the holy shrines of Iraq, the official of the pavilion of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Sayed. Haider Taleb Mamitha, explained, "in this edition, the pavilions of the holy shrines were distinguished by a design that embodies the features of the holy shrines, because the image of the shrines has a good impact on the hearts of visitors to the exhibition, and because it represents a great importance in their souls".
