The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine begin their preparations to hold the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students

The staffs of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have begun their preparations to hold the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students with the participation of more than 1,400 students from 29 universities and institutes, which will be held next Saturday.

The member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the supervisor of the central graduation ceremony, Haj Kadhem Obada, said: "coinciding with the advent of the Eid of Al-Ghadeer and in implementation of the directives of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi to pay attention to the segment of university students as builders of the country and makers of the future, and given the importance they represent in preserving the original moral values, the staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by its technical, service and organizational departments, began preparing for the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, which will be held next Saturday," he said.

The member of the board of Directors added: "This ceremony will be held after the success achieved by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in organizing the central graduation ceremonies for Iraqi university female students, which met with positive echoes in society, as it presents Iraqi students as students of Science and knowledge and educators of generations that save this country from intellectual and moral deviations".

"The most distinctive thing about the central graduation ceremonies is the association of their activities with the name of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the performance of the oath at his holy shrine, and this represents for the students a religious and moral dimension that will have an impact on their souls for life," Haj Obada said.

For his part, the official of the University Relations Division of the public relations department, Maher Khaled, said: "preparations for the central ceremony for Iraqi university students are in full swing in terms of preparing the venue for the ceremony, as well as other events that will precede the ceremony.”

Khalid added: "We have prepared a distinctive program for this event, which includes the Ziyarat of graduated students to the Master of martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and the performance of the at the holy shrine of the moon of Bani Hashem (prayers of Allah be upon him)”, indicating: "we have prepared a central anthem that will be sung by students in the ceremony that will be hosted by the yards of the Al-Ameed educational group.”

The official of the University Relations Division explained: "there will be an official presence of a number of presidents of universities and institutes and deans of colleges participating in the ceremony.”
