A medical team succeeds in ending the suffering of a patient with a herniated disc

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality hospital has succeeded in ending the suffering of a patient with a slipped cervical vertebra, which almost led him to paralysis.

"A sixty-seven-year-old patient from Dhi Qar province arrived at the hospital with dangerous herniated discs in the cervical vertebrae, which almost led him to paralysis," said spine surgery specialist, Iranian doctor Mohammad Zarei.

He explained that" the patient was unable to walk as the condition progressed and the symptoms intensified, "explaining, "the patient was admitted to the operating theaters three times in multiple hospitals, and was discharged from them without an operation because of its extreme difficulty".

"After the man's arrival at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality hospital, a complex and extremely difficult corrective operation was performed, which was crowned with great success, as the pathological symptoms disappeared and the patient's condition began to improve, and he returned to his normal life," Zarei pointed out.
