Al-Kafeel Public Investment Company develops solutions to energy problems in the Holy Shrine projects

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, through Al-Kafeel Public Investment Company, has turned to relying on renewable energy, specifically solar energy, in many of its projects .

Haidar Khalil Haidar, energy engineer at Al-Kafeel Company for Public Investments, said: "after the expansion and diversification of the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the holy shrine sought to diversify energy sources and rely on renewable ones that will work to supply electric power to the projects" .

He added: "solar energy is characterized by being an environmentally friendly and emission-free energy that invests sunlight to supply industrial, commercial and agricultural projects with electricity and various production capacities that suit the uses and needs of each project under the supervision of a specialized cadre from Al-Kafeel Company for Public Investments".
