Department of the Area between the Two Holy Shrines participates in the Cleanliness week campaign in Karbala

The staff of the Department between the Two Holy Shrines participated in the Cleanliness week campaign launched by the province of Karbala.

The assistant head of the Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed Shaker Hashim, said that "the department has taken the responsibility to remove waste from the alleys and streets surrounding the two holy shrines as part of the Cleanliness week campaign in Karbala".

"This campaign follows the the completion of the waste removal works after the Ziyarat Arba'een, where our staff began washing the streets leading to the square between the Two Holy Shrines, as well as the alleys of the Old City," he added.

The works are being carried out in cooperation with the municipality of Karbala.

The staff of the department had carried out a wide campaign immediately after the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een ceremonies, including streets (Bab Baghdad, al-Hawra Zainab Street, 'Alqami Street, Janna al-Hussein street, old mughtasal Street, the area between the Two Holy Shrines, and imams Al-Baqi Street), according to the assistant head of the Department.
