The Kishwaniat Division of the Service Affairs Department is organizing the work of more than 9 thousand depository boxes to serve visitors to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
"The work of the division and its purpose is to serve the visitors of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), coming from different parts of the world," the official in the Kishwaniat Division, Mr. Alaa Reda Abdel Aoun, told The News Center.
He added,"there are 9 Kishwaniat (shoes depositries) around the holy shrine, each Kishwania has 500 boxes, and the box is divided into two digits, and the result is there are 1000 boxes in each Keshwania".
Abdel Aoun pointed out that," the kishwaniat are scattered at the various external gates leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), "stressing that "the work of the division in all its units is 24 hours a day, according to a precise mechanism of work.
He explained, " the work is not limited to Keshwaniat only, but extends to helping elderly and disabled visitors to enter the holy shrine in order to perform and complete the Ziyarat ceremonies, by harnessing special wheelchairs to them."
