The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs launches the third Quranic course for African students

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched the third developmental course in the sciences of the Holy Quran for African students of religious sciences in Najaf.

This course is supervised by the Department's Center for African Studies.

The director of the center, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the course is being lectured by a group of qualified professors at Iraqi universities, which is an extension of the previous Quranic courses held in previous years".

He added that "the aim of the course is to demonstrate the knowledge of the Holy Quran in various fields and specialties to hawza students from the African communities in Najaf".

He pointed out that "the Quranic course increases the knowledge of African communities in the sciences of the Holy Quran in various fields, and is a real and great supporter in their Hawza study".
