Al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine is sending more than 220 personnel to provide relief assistance in Syria

The director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, confirmed that the holy shrine will send more than 220 individuals to provide relief assistance in Syria.

Al-Shami said in a statement to the News Center that "the relief efforts of the Al-Abbas's(p) Holy Shrine come inspired by whom we are honored to serve; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the master of water and loyalty, and in response to the appeal of the supreme religious authority and under the guidance of its Senior Official; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, as the Holy Shrine has completed all its preparations to conduct its first relief flights to the earthquake victims in Syria, as more than 220 personnel will be sent by the Holy Shrine to provide assistance there".

"The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has always provided a humanitarian national role in the crises experienced by Iraq previously, and today it provides support to the earthquake victims in Syria who are going through difficult conditions out of humanitarian compassion, so it has launched this campaign aimed at providing food, medical supplies, clothing and all that they need," he added.

According to al-Shami,"it is no stranger to Iraqis who are always working to achieve social solidarity, especially in difficult circumstances, today they are taking the initiative and racing to provide service to those who were affected by the earthquake by conducting aid campaigns, which contribute to providing all their requirements.
