With the participation of more than 100 trainees, Al-Ameed University hosts the National Assessor for Institutional Accreditation course

Al-Ameed University hosted the National Assessor for Institutional Accreditation course with the participation of more than 100 trainees, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

"Today we witnessed the opening of the training course for institutional accreditation of University evaluation, with the participation of more than a hundred trainees, and the university provided all the logistics for this course,"said the assistant rector of the University, Dr. Alaa al-Mousawi.

He added:" the course includes an assessment from professors at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and part of this assessment is for the Al-Ameed University and the extent of its access to institutional accreditation and what it has provided for this, "stressing that"the course witnessed a series of lectures and practical workshops that contribute to raising the efficiency of trainees."

For his part, the director of the Quality Assurance Department at the Ministry, Dr. Ahmed al-Jaafari, said:"the workshop is important to prepare assessor teams for institutional accreditation, which aims to ensure that all public and private universities apply the standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation."

He added:" the workshop lasted for 5 days, including 3 electronic lectures, and two days of practical training represented by the holding of several workshops." He also praised the efforts exerted by the university, its president and its staff."

Dr. Mohsen al-Abadi, a member of the National Institutional Accreditation Committee, stressed that "the project will change the map of higher education in Iraq and put it on the right path to keep pace with international higher education institutions, and it will help academic institutions achieve the goals and outputs of Higher Education".
