The opening ceremony of the educational curriculum at Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and of the first annual festival of the commissioning age: is the first events on the third day of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring..

On Wednesday morning 5th Shaa'ban 1435 AH corresponding to 4th June 2014 AD were launched the first event of the thrid day of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, which is hold under the slogan: “Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) The Light of the outstanding and the guidance of the righteous”, with the opening ceremony of the educational curriculum at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and of the first annual festival of the commissioning age.

This was hosted at the Hall of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) in Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the presence of a number of delegations participating in the festival, in addition to the President of the Council of the province of Karbala, its governor and a number of educational and cultural personalities, as well as a large number of schools' students and their parents.

The opening ceremony started with reciting verses from the holy Quran by the International reader Sayed Hassanein AlHelo, followed by the hymn of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine "Pride's composition" and then the word of general secretariats of the two holy shrines, delivered by the General Secretary of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, followed by the intervention of the Directorate of Education in Karbala presented by Mr. Abbas 'Awdah.

Then came the word of the overseeing committee of the educational program delivered by Professor Maitham al-Zaidi, where he explained the highlights of this program, and what are the mechanisms that were adopted in the establishment of Al-Ameed schools and the Faculty of humanities' studies.

Then a documentary film was presented to the founding of Al-Ameed's Schools and methods of teaching, followed by a number of theatrical performances that dealt with the conflict in the Islamic nation because of the satanic whispers, and that the promised Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance) will reunify under its banner, while the second performance spoke about the born in this day, Imam As-Sajjad (peace be upon him), the last one dealt with the commissioning age, in addition to some other presentations performed by students.

At the end of this ceremony, was the distribution of a number of appreciation certificates on the number of the participants in the project.
