Launching sessions for presenting Hussayni documentary films within the events of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring..

On Wednesday evening 5th Shaa'ban 1435 AH corresponding to 4th June 2014 AD was launched the first session to view the participating documentary films in the contest of the Hussayni documentary films, which is one of the new addition of the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, in order to highlight the luminous uprising of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) through documenting the historical, intellectual and moral facts, and their impact on the current reality in an artistic and innovative way.

Mr. Ali Al Saffar a member of the preparatory committee of the festival has declared at the start of the session the receipt of (57) films from Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran and Argentina, which were evaluated by a committee specialized in the cinematography, in order to choose the winning films in the competition, which will be announced during the closing ceremony of the festival.

During this session, six films were displayed, namely: (Those with special needs), (Haj Hasan), (The green thirst), (The land of Ferdaous ) , (Bakhsho) and (zowareh).

It is worth mentioning that the establishment of the competition of the Hussayni documentary film, is one of the new additions to the International Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, which is hold under the slogan: “Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) The Light of the outstanding and the guidance of the righteous”.
