The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds the “Al-Kafeel Sofra» peogram in the Republic of Benin

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the "Al-Kafeel Sofra" program in the city of Barako, the capital of Borgou province in the north of the Republic of Benin.

The program is organized by the Department's Center for African Studies.

The director of the Center; Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the Center continues to implement the "Al-Kafeel Sofra" program in eleven African countries, including Benin under the supervision and follow-up of the Center's coordinator in Benin, Sheikh Hassan Omid, amid the presence of followers and lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".

He added, "during the past days, the program was held in Benin and included worship activities, as Sheikh Ismail Abda and Sheikh said Mikael bensighi read the special supplications of the nights of the month of Ramadhan, and sheikh Suleiman gave a lecture in the local language entitled "The reasons for the mission of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)", and Sheikh Hadi Ibrahim gave a lecture on the benefits of fasting."
