Media Department: we work around the clock to cover the activities of the holy month of Ramadhan

The Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine explained the work of the live broadcasting system in covering the Quranic forums and religious and cultural events related to the holy month of Ramadhan.

"The live broadcasting system continues its work throughout the year, focusing its efforts on the months of Muharram, Safar and Ramadhan," said Broadcast Engineer Mohammed Amir al-Tamimi, noting that "the live broadcast of the activities of the holy shrine during the holy month of Ramadhan begins daily before the noon prayers, which is held in the courtyard of Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

"As for the religious programs, there is the (Li Natafaqqah) program, which is broadcast daily except Monday and Thursday, as they are dedicated to the establishment of the devotional practice of the servants of the Holy Shrine, followed by the broadcast of the (Ma'aref al-Turath) competition organized by the Department of Knowledge Affairs and continues to be broadcast every day except Thursday night and nights of al-Qadr, and then the central Quranic Khatmah is broadcast from the Holy Courtyard,"he added.

Al-Tamimi continued,"the two Isha prayers are broadcast, followed by Dua Kumayl every Thursday, and after Iftaar, Dua al-Iftitah is read, then the religious lecture is broadcast within the daily council of the holy shrine of the month of Ramadhan, and then the (team competition) held by the Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran, followed by the Quranic Khatmah held at the Maqam of the Master of Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance)".

At exactly one o'clock after midnight, the supplication of Abu Hamza al-Themali, supplications of Sahar, the Adhan of Fajr, and the program (Ya Kashef al-Karb), which is broadcast in Persian, in addition to Arabic, are broadcast at two o'clock after midnight before the Sahar times in the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Courtyard to receive subscribers ' calls from the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), especially those who did not succeed in travelling to perform the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them), as well as broadcasting the activities and festivals held by the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine throughout the holy month of Ramadhan.

Al-Tamimi pointed out that"the Broadcasting System covers conferences, festivals, Quranic Khatmahs and religious and cultural events held by the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in the holy month of Ramadhan, as they are sent to satellite channels to broadcast through their screens for free, in addition to live broadcasting through the social networking sites of the holy shrine.

He stressed that"the system is equipped with the best existing technology in terms of cameras, audio and image output devices, in addition to servers that store the filmed materials and deliver them to the archive to enter the editing process and then broadcast".
