«Ahl al-Bayt Foundation” in Spain: during our visit to Karbala, we witnessed peaceful coexistence and acceptance of all sects and nationalities

The director of the Ahl al-Bayt Foundation(peace be upon them) in Spain confirmed that the foundation's delegation witnessed peaceful coexistence and acceptance of all sects and nationalities during its visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine.

The Spanish delegation had a meeting with the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine: Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, in the presence of the director of his office, Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, and the member of its board of Directors, Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi.

The director of the foundation, Mr. Musa Kamel al-A'sam, said that"the purpose of our visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was to form a real vision of the Iraqi reality in its cultural and religious aspects, as well as to get acquainted with its civilization, history and its monuments."

He added that " the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine represented by its senior management was very cooperative, and this is what we felt during the visit to the holy city of Karbala," noting that "the delegation witnessed the peaceful coexistence that is evident in dealing with all sects and nationalities, contrary to what some media are trying to convey from a different image that is contrary to the truth."

He explained that" the meeting with His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine was interspersed with talking about the scientific levels in Iraqi universities, "noting that the delegation"discussed with His Eminence the possibility of medical cooperation and exchange of experiences in this field."
