The Engineering Projects Department supplies the local market with construction materials

The Engineering Projects Department at Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine supplies the local market with construction materials through three different production lines.

Engineer Bassam al-Hashimi, director of the construction industries website of the Department, said that "the site has three diverse production lines, providing the local market with various construction materials, which are used in strategic and service projects, in addition to covering the Holy Shrine projects".

He added that"the light and heavy block production line is one of the most prominent of these lines, as it produces more than 19 thousand (blocks) per day in two periods, morning and evening, and what distinguishes this line is the modernity of production machines and their compliance with international quality standards".

For his part, engineer Mustafa Kassem, one of the workers at the site, explained that" the site's products are distinguished from the rest of the sites by entering laboratory tests before and after their production, to measure their quality and conformity with what exists in modern factories, and their suitability for different conditions".
