The Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the involvement of a number of local and foreign satellite channels in covering the events of the first international Imamate week.
The director of the Media Coordination Center of the Department, Mr. Osama Badr Najm, said that "the media plan developed by the Department included the involvement of satellite channels to cover the events of the first international Imamate week," adding, "invitations were distributed to satellite channels a few days ago.
"The channels that were invited expressed their great desire to contribute to the media effort in order to cover this event," he explained, explaining that "the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has devoted part of its attention this week to the media side in particular with the involvement of as many satellite channels as possible.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine holds the activities of the Imamate week on the sixth of July this year, under the slogan: (the prophecy and the Imamate are inseparable titles) and the title (the Imamate is the system of the nation).
The Imamate week includes the holding of seven conferences that revolve around more than thirty topics, including (Quranic, narrations, intellectual, doctrinal, juristic, fundamentalist, political, social, educational, psychological, linguistic, literary, historical, Orientalist) as well as topics related to signs of appearance.
The week's activities also include the holding of seven cultural and artistic competitions (short film competition, visual arts competition for young people, poetry competition, calligraphy competition, literary essay competition, art posters and short videos competition, short story competition).
