The start of the activities of the first day of the Imamate week in the academic presence from inside and outside Iraq

The events of the first day of the international Imamate week, held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan (the prophecy and the Imamate are inseparable titles) and under the title (the Imamate is the order of the nation), started in the Al-Kafeel University.

The opening of the first day's activities was attended by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, the secretary general; Sayed. Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia'uddin, a number of board members and officials of the shrine, and many academic and Hawza figures from inside and outside Iraq.

The first conference is held within the activities of the first international Imamate week under the slogan "Imam Ali (peace be upon him) the balance of truth", and is supervised by Al-Kafeel University and the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association.

The conference began with a beautiful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, followed by Sheikh Mahdi Qalandar from the Institute of the Holy Quran in Najaf, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq.

The first conference includes a series of events, in addition to two research sessions, the first in the Hall of Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, managed by Dr. Hussam Ali al-Obeidi, and the second in the Hall of Sheikh Dia al-Din al-Iraqi, managed by Dr. Ayad Sahib Hammadi, with the participation of a number of researchers from inside and outside Iraq.

The week's activities kicked off on the evening of Thursday, July 6, 2023 and will last for seven days, during which seven conferences will be held on more than thirty topics, including (Quranic, narrations, intellectual, doctrinal, Fiqh, fundamentalism, political, social, educational, psychological, linguistic, literary, historical, Orientalist), as well as topics related to signs of the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
