The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine embraces the activities of the annual central ceremony of Eid al-Ghadeer

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine hosted the events of the annual central ceremony of Eid al-Ghadeer, organized by the bodies and processions of the city of Karbala.

The ceremony was attended by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Mustafa Mortada Aal Dea'-Uddin, a number of members of the holy shrine's Board of directors and heads of its departments, with the participation of a number of members of the Al-Abbas's (p) Squad, the Ali Akbar Brigade, the regiment between the Two Holy Shrines and a large number of visitors.

The ceremony, which was held in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Ali Mamitha, after which the Fatiha Surah was read in memory for the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, followed by the speech of the two holy shrines delivered by Sheikh Ahmad al-Safi, beginning it by congratulating and blessing those present on the Eid al-Ghadeer, in addition to presenting the importance of this pivotal event in Islamic history, the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Hosuehold) declared the Wilayat of Imam Ali(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)".".

Then came the speech of the people of Karbala, delivered by the poet Haj Aqeel Farhoud Karbala'i, in which he stressed that the lofty goal that the people of Karbala seek from this blessed occasion, is that the day of Eid al-Ghadeer should be a constitution for us and shine the eternal light and pure source, because it is the day of guardianship and steadfastness on the Wilaya of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and renew allegiance to him.

Karbalai also extended his thanks to the Supreme Authority; His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Sistani, the Senior Officials of the two holy shrines; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbala'i, and to all departments and divisions.

After that, the audience listened to a selection of poems delivered by the poets of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), namely the poets Reda al-Khafaji and Ahmed al-Aliawi, as well as there were chants presented by the Radoods Sayed Ibrahim, Karar Abu Ghoneim and Karar al-Kadhemi amid an atmosphere of joy that flooded the place, while the visitors carried bouquets of flowers on this blessed anniversary.

The annual central ceremony of Eid al-Ghadeer was concluded by holding a draw for the participants in the Al-Ghadeer competition, distributing the coupons of the competition to the participants and honoring the winners, in addition to honoring the photographer of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Samer al-Husseini and a number of people from Karbala, Najaf al-Ashraf and the Holy Kadhemiyah by the secretary general of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia'-Uddin, the member of its board of directors; Mr. Kadhem Obada and the head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department Sayed Aqeel al-Yaseri.
