Division between the Two Holy Shrines: we provided large quantities of cold drinks and water throughout the days of the month of Muharram

The Department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the provision of large quantities of cold drinks and water throughout the days of the holy month of Muharram.

Assistant head of the Department, Engineer Mohammad Mustafa Shaker, said that"the department provided large quantities of cold drinks and drinking water boxes, commensurate with the large numbers of visitors arriving to Karbala during the holy month of Muharram, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn and his family and companions(peace be upon them)".

He added that "cold drinks and water are distributed by the Department's staff to visitors inside the area between the Two Holy Shrines and the surrounding streets, in addition to Abbas Street(peace be upon him), Al-Alaqmi Street and Baghdad Gate street".

Shaker explained that "the staff of the department provided about 72 thousand liters of saffron juice drink, ice is added to it and distributed to visitors since the first day of Muharram".

The department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched a campaign to clean and wash the central square after the end of the Ashura commemoration ceremonies, as part of its efforts after the end of the Blessed Ziyarat to provide a suitable environment for visitors, and in preparation for receiving religious and cultural events in the coming days.
