The conclusion of the second largest mourning procession in commemoration of the burial of the holy bodies on the thirteenth day of Muharram

The city of Karbala concluded, on the thirteenth of Muharram, the mourning of the Bani Asad tribe, which is considered the second largest mourning March after the Twayreej Run, with the entry of all mourners to the two holy shrines with high flow and organization, in the commemoration of the burial of the holy bodies.

One hundred and twenty processions from the tribes of the province and its clans, in addition to other tribal delegations, took part in the mourning procession of the Bani Asad tribe, which is considered the second largest mourning ritual after the Twayreej Run, by the entry of all mourners to the two holy shrines with high flow and organization.

The Iraqi tribes and clans entered the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) respectively and performed their condolence rituals, and recalled what happened in Karbala in 61 AH when the Bani Asad tribe, was honored to help Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him), participated in burying the bodies of the martyrs of the at-Taf tragedy, and since then the thirteenth day of Muharram has become a memory to commemorate this sad event.
