The department between the two Shrines announces the success of its plan of the Ziyarat Ashura and the burial ceremonies of the holy bodies

The Department between the Two Holy Shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the success of its plan of the Ziyarat Ashura and burial of the holy bodies.

The assistant head of the Department, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa Shaker, said in an interview with the News Center, that "a special plan has been prepared for the Ziyarat Ashura and the burial ceremonies of the holy martyrs bodies (peace be upon them), starting from the first day until the thirteenth of the month of Muharram, and included three (service, security and technical) axes.

He added that"the security axis of the plan included fully securing the area, inspecting the vehicles entering it through field detachments, specialized detachments to detect thefts and the explosives detection unit, while the service axis included removing waste and supplying processions with water, ice blocks and electricity".

He added that "the technical axis included the completion of the spray system in the central square within (36) hours only, in cooperation with the engineering maintenance department, as it contains (20) lines of sprinklers on an area of approximately (850) meters, installing its own pumps and equipping tanks to supply them with water, as well as the deployment of a number of large-sized refrigerants".

Shaker pointed out that"the plan reached its peak with the entry of the mourning of Twayreej Run on Ashura day, as the Department's staff and volunteers, in cooperation with the rest of the departments, succeeded in organizing the passage of mourners and not registering any negative situation.

He concluded by pointing out that" the general maintenance division in the department worked to provide chilled drinking water, ablution water in the area between the two Shrines, and equip the lighting and acoustics system for the central square, "stressing"the success of the plan by one hundred percent".
