In its ninth edition.. Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine participates in the book fair for the festival of Tarateel Sajjadiya

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the Book Fair, which is part of the ninth edition of the International Festival of Tarateel Sajjadiya, which is held by the Imam al-Hussayn' (p) holy shrine.

The exhibition was opened by His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the Senior Official of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, in the area between the Two Holy Shrines, with the participation of a group of Iraqi and Arab publishing houses and many cultural institutions and holy shrines.

The assistant head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine; Mr. Radwan Abdul Hadi, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine participated through a special pavilion in the exhibition through the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, the Media Department and the Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs Department".

"The Al-Abbas's(p) Shrine pavilion included a large collection of encyclopedias, books, specialized magazines, and various periodical and quarterly publications that exceeded 400 titles,"he added.

For his part, the director of the exhibition, Mr. Mohammed Abdel Salam, said that "the exhibition included in its ninth edition about 26 thousand titles, varied between academic, scientific, educational and humanitarian titles, as well as special editions for children, with the participation of a number of Arab and foreign publishing houses from Lebanon, Tunisia, Kuwait, Egypt and Iran".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participates in various local and international book fairs in an effort to disseminate authentic Islamic thought, as well as to provide the reader with the sources needed in various sciences and disciplines.
