Believers perform the mourning and Ziyarat rituals in commemoration fo the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him) in Samarra

Large crowds of believers commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him) at his holy shrine in the holy city of Samarra.

The reporter of the News Center said that large crowds of visitors from inside and outside Iraq came to the city of Samarra to perform the Ziyarat rituals on the painful martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him), indicating that the city witnessed the funeral of the symbolic coffin of Imam al-Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him), with the wide participation of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

He added that the holy city of Samarra has witnessed a security, service and health alert for several days to provide various services to the masses of visitors, while the service processions coming from various governorates of Iraq spared no effort to provide food, drink and accommodation services to visitors.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has mobilized the efforts of its departments for five days to support the effort of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari (peace be upon them) and contribute to providing various services to visitors intending to visit the holy shrine in Samarra.
