Organizing a tour for students of religious sciences from African communities to the city of Samara

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized a group Ziyarat for African communities of Religious Science students in Najaf, to Samarra and Dujail.

The visit comes within the program of the African Studies Center of the Department for the year 2023 to visit the holy shrines inside Iraq.

The director of the Center; Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that"the aim of the visit is to introduce the African communities to the holy places of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and highlight the religious and spiritual landmarks related to them, and get to know their auspicious biography".

In the same context, the official of the Preaching Unit at the Center; Sayed Muslim al-Jaberi, said that "the group Ziyarat included students of religious sciences from the countries of Ghana, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Nigeria," explaining that "the program continues until the end of this year and includes various projects on the African continent and the care of African communities in Iraq."

The African students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Center's management for the efforts exerted to establish the visit to the holy shrines and other religious and humanitarian programs, stressing the great interest of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
