Shiite Waqf: great efforts are being made by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine to enrich the intellectual and cultural side of the country

The head of the Shiite endowment Bureau, Dr. Haider al-Shammari, stressed that there are great efforts being made by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to enrich the intellectual and cultural side of the country.

During his attendance at the ninth International Book Fair held by the Kadhemiya holy shrine, Al-Shammari said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine is one of the important pillars on which this annual exhibition depends, stressing that there are great efforts provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine to enrich the intellectual and cultural side of the country through its continuous participation in various book exhibitions".

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, the Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs, and the supreme authority for the revival of heritage, participated in the activities of the ninth International Book Fair by displaying more than (750) publications in various fields.
