The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine launches the activities of the third international House of the Great Prophet conference

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched, on Thursday(19/10/2023), the activities of the International Scientific Conference of the House of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) in its third edition.

The conference, organized by the House of the Great Prophet(Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, will be held at the holy shrine, under the title (the Prophet's biography in the books of interpretation), and its activities will last for two days.

The opening session of the conference was attended by the director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, a number of members of the holy shrine's Board of directors, heads of its departments, religious, official and academic figures.

The conference began with a beautiful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran by the reader; Sayed Laith al-Obeidi, followed by the playing of the national anthem and the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, followed by the speech of his eminence the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, delivered on his behalf by the member of the board of Directors, Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, in which he stressed that "the Islamic history was falsified, and was not spared from fabrication and distortion."

He added that "the most obvious purpose that emerged from the House of the great prophet at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine is to work on rewriting the prophetic biography in the light of the holy Quran and true narrations of the Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them); and this is an aspiration expressed by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, so many tried to translate it-in this house-into practical reality up to that ambition".
