The ambassador of the state of Pakistan to Iraq, Mr. Ahmed Amjad Ali, said that more than 300 thousand Pakistani visitors come annually to visit the holy shrines in the country, during his visit to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, on the occasion of the end of his duties as ambassador of the state of Pakistan to Iraq.
Ali said that " large numbers of Pakistanis exceed the 300 thousand visitors, come annually to visit the holy shrines in Iraq," pointing out that "180 thousand visitors entered the country during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) only."
He added that" this visit is the last for me as the ambassador of the state of Pakistan in Iraq, the official duties assigned to me have ended, " pointing out his intention to make future visits to the holy shrine.
The ambassador expressed his admiration for the great role played by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the success of the major Ziyarat, including the Ziyarat Arba'een, through the efforts exerted and the various services it provides.
