For the first time, female students from six countries are participating in the graduation ceremony of university students (the sixth batch of Al-Kafeel Girls), held by the division of Al-Kafeel women's religious schools at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, a member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine, said that "a group of female graduates was selected from six countries: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Iran and Lebanon, and we have tried to reduce the number of female students from abroad in order to reach a high Organization".
"Every year, after the good echo of the central graduation ceremony held by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, we receive letters of admiration, praise and appreciation, as well as a request to repeat this experience in the Iraqi provinces, and every year we receive appeals from outside Iraq offering us the desire to participate in the central ceremony from students of Arab and neighboring countries, and this year some of these requests were met,"he added.
"Because Iraq is at the heart of the vision of the holy shrine, and because of what our valiant people are being subjected to in Gaza of genocide and violence in scenes that scratch humanity, the responsible of this ceremony decided to investing this Iraqi, Arab and international gathering, in order to denounce the Zionist entity and those who are supporting them, as well as to highlight our support to our brothers in wounded Gaza,"al-Mousawi said.
The holy shrine holds its annual graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students (batch of Al-Kafeel Girls), on the ninth and tenth of November this year, and it is one of the largest festivals it holds, with various events and activities; to provide moral motivation for graduating students, and to crown their educational career and their start of working life from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
