The procession of "Sky's lanterns" performed the rituals of the thirteenth day of the sacred month of Muharram..

After Isha prayer, the condolence procession of "Sky's lanterns alias Qanadeel As-Sama" of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), was launched in commemoration of the third day after the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussayn, his family and companions (peace be upon them), in which their pure bodies were finally buried.

This procession started from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine towards the shrine of the father of the free, Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), carrying banners in which were inscribed with the names of the martyrs of the timeless tragedy of At-Taff.

The procession was led by a group who was carrying the Holy Quran along with the banners' holders, chanting along with the present visitors slogans that reflect the greatness of this tragedy.

The procession finished with a consolation gathering at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with a wide participation and large interaction of the visitors.
