Basra health director: the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has a heroic role in treating patients since the corona pandemic until today

The director general of the Basra health department, Dr. Abbas Khalaf al-Tamimi, confirmed that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has played a heroic role in treating patients, since the spread of the corona pandemic to today.

"We thank the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for its continuous support to the Basra health department, since the corona pandemic to the present day, it has had a heroic role in supporting us by treating patients during it," al-Tamimi said.

He added that" joint cooperation exists between us to the moment, many oncology patients are referred to Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital for the purpose of their treatment, "pointing out that" the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine has a number of health projects that will contribute to strengthening the health aspect in the governorate."

"During today's meeting, we discussed how to support the health sector in the province of Basra, and assign it by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine," he explained, noting that "its role and actions have been recognized for a long time".

Khalaf praised the efforts exerted by the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and also thanked for the hospitality and reception he received during his visit to the holy shrine.
