At the Al-Kafeel Hospital, treatment of a young man suffering from stellate plexitis syndrome

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital ended the suffering of a young man suffering from chronic upper limb pain following a previous injury he suffered.

Pain medicine specialist Dr. Reda al-Kaabi said that" a non-surgical intervention was performed for a thirty-year-old patient suffering from chronic pain covering the entire right upper limb, in addition to high sensitivity to temperatures with atrophy of nerves and muscles, "indicating that"the case was diagnosed with (astrocytosis plexitis syndrome), an inflammatory condition that irritates sensory nerves, which in turn affects the motor nerves."

He added, "the case was treated using pulse frequency pain medicine interventions and Plexus replacement under local anesthesia and relying on a sonar device, and the response to treatment was fast and the patient enjoys a good state of health," pointing out that the hospital has the equipment and techniques that qualify it to perform various pain medicine interventions."
