This came during the tour conducted by the delegation to the two universities, and to see the technical developments used in modern classrooms and educational laboratories, and systems that mimic what exists in known international universities.
The rector of the University, the dean Dr. Jawdat Nuri al-Jash'ami, said that "the visit of the Aster Group delegation to the state of India aims to open the horizons of scientific, health and medical cooperation at the University academic level," pointing out that "the institution is interested in the field of university and health services, and we hope through this interest to reach cooperative ways to serve the educational process at the University."
He added that"the health and medical side is constantly evolving in addition to the academic side, so we encourage such visits to find out about the modernity that exists globally, and benefit from and transfer successful experiences to Iraq".
For his part, the consultant of medical education at Al-Kafeel University, Dr. Hilal Bahjat al-Saffar, said that "the aim of the visit is a long-term cooperation between Al-Kafeel University and Aster Foundation in the health, pharmaceutical, medical and other fields, at all levels for initial studies and post-graduate studies, and it will be a qualitative addition for both parties".
For his part, the executive director of the Aster Foundation, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Sen, said, "We are very pleased with our fruitful visit to the institutions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including the Al-Kafeel and Al-Ameed Universities, which have excellent infrastructure, and we are thinking of a formula for cooperation at all possible levels."
He added that"the aim of the visit is to discuss ways of joint and long-term cooperation between the foundation and the Universities of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, not only in health services, but also in dentistry and pharmacy at all levels of primary and specialized studies, in addition to providing joint training programs of high quality".
