Al-Kafeel Nurseries: our production of dates for this year reached (60) tons

Al-Kafeel nurseries group, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, announced that its production of dates has reached (60) tons this year.

The official of the group, Mr. Mohammed Harbi, said that "the production of the Al-Kafeel Nurseries Group of the date crop for this year amounted to (60) tons, including (15) tons of Rutab, (15) tons of Kharmosh, while the crop of Zohdi reached (25) tons, and the production of Khastawi dates reached (5) tons".

He added that "the nurseries contain many rare varieties, which are lacking in the local markets such as (Mutouk, Burhi, Burban, Maktoum, Omrani, Khadhrawi), in addition to other rare species".
"The group's staff is always working on increasing green spaces and adding new plantings, according to the plans prepared for the development of nurseries, enhancing the environment and tempering the atmosphere,"he added.

The Al-Kafeel Nurseries Group contributes to supplying the local markets with dates and other crops by increasing the local product and dispensing with the imported one, in order to achieve self-sufficiency, according to Harbi.
