The head of the Higher Education Authority at the holy shrine, Dr. Abbas al-Deda al-Mousawi, said that "the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine seeks to highlight the Iraqi scientific achievements in light of the ambiguous atmosphere the country is going through in the University and social scenes".
He added that" the holy shrine celebrates today a good elite of our students who have achieved the first ranks with their university education, and this is due to two things, the first is that it puts hope in the souls of people and spreads light, and restores to the Iraqi his luck and status as the owner of a distinguished mind, people of science, excellence and confidence, "pointing out that"the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine celebrates the Iraqi mind and encourages to give him full confidence.
He continued that"the second thing that invited us to celebrate the students is to provide a message to them that they are appreciated by their parents, and that we appreciate their efforts in their academic career, and we honor their academic achievement".
For his part, Mr. Mohammed al-Yasiri, head of the School Relations Unit in the University and School Relations Division of the public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, said that "the celebration of the first students of Imam al-Kadhem college (peace be upon him) comes within the forums of the Al-Kafeel National Cultural youth project, according to a previously prepared program, which includes visiting the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
He pointed out that" the program included holding a dialogue seminar on the message of the university student, in addition to a tour to see a number of projects of the holy shrine, especially cultural ones, "stressing that"the public relations department continues to communicate effectively with the segment of university students and holding forums that seek to achieve the vision of the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine of the importance of the student in building the country."
In the same context, the head of the Business Administration Department at Imam al-Kadhem College, Dr. Ibrahim al-Shammari, confirmed that "the number of students who were celebrated in the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) reached about (55) students, which is the fifth time that the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine honors the students of our college".
"The honor represents a moral support for students and contributes to increasing their motivation to achieve successes in their scientific and professional fields, and strengthens their national and Islamic identity in light of the fierce cultural attacks to which society is exposed,"he said.
