The Department of Intellectual Affairs holds a meeting on programs and service to the African community with its preachers

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a meeting with its preachers and coordinators in African countries after the conclusion of the first development course.

The director of the Center for African Studies of the Department, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the meeting held today for the center's representatives and coordinators on the African continent comes after the conclusion of the first development course held at the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine in Karbala, in addition to visiting the holy shrines in Iraq and scientific and research institutions."

He added that "preachers and coordinators play an important role in their countries and societies, as they seek to explain the thought, method and biography of the prophet, to convey the features of the true faith and the identity of the authentic Mohammadian religion".

"During the meeting held in Najaf, we presented the center's future vision and the expected benefits of these programs and their impact on the African Community,"Al-Shammari continued.

The preachers expressed their appreciation for this great and distinctive initiative of the center, and for the great efforts it makes in serving the African community through the establishment of high-quality courses and workshops for African preachers in Iraq.
