Al-Ameed Society launches activities to celebrate the International Day of the Arabic language

The Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association launched today, Friday, the activities of celebrating the International Day of the Arabic language in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) inside the Holy Shrine.

The events are held under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the title (our Arabic is the Lady of languages), in the presence of members of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Laith al-Mousawi, Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Deda al-Mousawi, and a number of department heads, researchers, specialists, and those interested in the Arabic language.

The events began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed Haydar Geloukhan, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha on the souls of martyrs and scholars, followed by the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Pride's Melody.

The Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association stressed in its speech during the ceremony, "the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine represents an authentic extension of that authentic Mohammadian thought, so it had the care of the Arabic language and its scholars from what everyone witnessed, and His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, directed the holding of events honoring the Arabic language at the forefront of this celebration, through many poetic and literary competitions and magazines more than one center has also been established to investigate into the authentic Arab heritage, in addition to the fact that the publications of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine should be investigated linguistically so they are perfect".

The celebration includes the holding of a research session to discuss three researches, all related to the Arabic language, as well as the participation of a number of poets with poems.
