The Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs at the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) by establishing a condolence Council, according to the third narration in Basra governorate.
The council was supervised by the Basra Heritage Center of the Department.
The council witnessed a lecture by Sheikh Mohammed al-Rikabi in which he discussed the biography of the life of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (may Allah's prayers be upon her), the impact of the oppression that accompanied her life, as well as her position with the messenger of Allah (Allah's prayerss be upon him and upon his holy Household) and her great suffering to defend the banner of the prophecy and the Imamate, so she was the defender of her father in his call and her husband in his Imamate.
The lecturer also addressed the exalted status that God Almighty bestowed upon Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), such as sacred specifications, stressing the need to sharpen and urge the aspiring pens to foresee the facts, and reach the postulates by scientific methods and objective and research axes, which stand on the Supreme dimension of this incident.
The council, which was attended by members and staff of the Basra Heritage Center, included reciting lament poems to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and concluded by heading to read the prayer of hasten the reappearance of the Master of the Time, the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah Almighty hasten his holy reappearance).
