The scientific complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched an advertising campaign to introduce the third electronic Quranic competition at universities.
The campaign is organized by the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf, part of the Holy Quran project at universities in its fourth cycle for the academic year (2023-2024).
The official of the activities unit at the institute, Mr. Zaid Madouhi al-Ramahi, said that"the advertising campaign was launched from the corridors of Al-Kafeel University, including all universities in Najaf and Qadisiyah Universities, to introduce students to this annual competition and the rules for participation in it, and the Institute allocated valuable prizes to the first winners."
He explained that" all students of Iraqi universities can participate in this annual competition, which this year includes asking (40) questions prepared from the book (Fifty lessons in ethics) by Sheikh Abbas al-Qomi, "pointing out that"about (6000) students from (98) Iraqi universities participated in last year's edition of the competition."
The Quranic project includes the establishment of Quranic seminars in colleges, institutes and internal departments, the University Quranic competition in memorization and recitation of the interpretation, as well as the second annual Quranic exhibition, the third electronic Quranic competition, in addition to Quranic courses in correct reading, Tajweed rules and the sciences of the Holy Quran, a development program for university professors, a competition for the best Quranic graduation research, religious trips, and other programs aimed at consolidating the principles of the Holy Quran in university circles.
