Condolence processions flocked to this sad anniversary of the death of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon them) from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala to offer condolences to the master of martyrs Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
The processions started with the condolence procession of Zinjeel, chanting lamentations and poems that mimic this sad occasion, going to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing through the area between the Two Holy Shrines to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and then establishing a condolence council there.
The entrance of the condolence processions shall be according to a schedule prepared by the Department of Hussayni Rituals and Processions in Iraq and the Islamic world at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in order to avoid cases of intersection between them.
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special plan to receive processions and mourners, in addition to preparing condolence platforms and religious lectures, as well as organizing condolence councils in several locations to demonstrate the greatness of the personality of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her).
